~A Good Church Family You Can Have Fun With~

Today was the fall fellowship! There was lots of fun things to do such as: Horseshoes,Jellybean guess, turkey shoot, cook off, sewing contest, and log chopping!
I won first place in the dessert/best looks. I won third in the dessert/best tasting, and third place in the dessert/best cake overall! It was the first time I had baked anything in my life, so I guess thats pretty good And YES male figures can know how to cook, clean, or anything else! That doesnt make them girly!~! Lol I have to thank Mark for giving me the theme...and Mrs.kelly for making the brownies and icing! Horseshoes; I did not participate! There were 300 jellybeans..I guessed 172! I came in 5th I believe...I didnt stick around to find out. I dont sew. I do not have any desire to sew! Lord willing my wife will know how to sew! The log chopping was really fun! I got a time of: 2.51 minutes/seconds. I beat Aaron, Jodo, and more people! I only beat Aaron by 1 second! I have the best church family anybody could ask for! When one is down they pick them up and the same goes vise versa..........

Psalms 133:1-BEHOLD, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!Well who knew chopping wood was so hard...It makes me think really hard when people ask, "how much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood" Lol!!

Silas and I at church...he loved my big tie!

November the first Silas Boaz Blackburn went home to be with the Lord! He belongs to Nick and Karen Blackburn. They are a great testimony of true christian faith and beleif in God. Silas is one of the eight kids they have. He was two and a half years old. He loved watching football with Aaron! He loves lightning Mc Queen. He loved goofing off and playing with his sissy Paige. He liked saying "Amen Preacher" during Bro. Buddy's preaching. He also loved his stuffed turtle. He has really tought me to be thankfull no matter what! It takes someone to die to show some one how to live....and that he did. He will forever be greatly missed but I know I will see him again.

The Maynards

Bro. Buddy is our pastor. He has been a great role model for me and a great friend to my dad. Mrs. Chris is the preachers wife, she is a great lady and a good friend to my mom! Russell,Clay, and Aaron are the preacher kids. They are great good Godly fun friends and I thank Aaron for showing me how to have fun and not get out of hand and keep God in everything! They have truly been a blessing.
